Located in our Ground Support team, your role as a Ground Support Equipment Technician will see you upholding all maintenance-both corrective and preventative, on motorised and non-motorised vehicles and equipment. You will also be responsible for using the IFS Maintenance system to capture maintenance activities. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a range of stakeholders across engineering, airports and freight ensuring service level agreements are met with the highest standard of safety and compliance.
You’ll have –
4. A trade certificate in Automotive or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years post trade experience preferably
5. Fabrication and welding experience will be highly regarded
6. Diagnostic and repair skills with an understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems is desirable but not essential
7. The ability to adapt under pressure in a fast-paced environment
8. Dedication to maintaining safe work practices and environment
9. Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus
10. Sound computer literacy
11. Ability to work shift work – mornings and afternoons
12. Previous ground support equipment maintenance experience (advantageous)
13. An Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket is highly desirable
14. A Forklift license (highly desirable)
