Job Summary
As a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie, you will lead our team to deliver exceptional dining experiences in our busy kitchen at the Green Hills Shopping Centre, NSW. With a strong background in Commercial Cookery and a passion for culinary excellence, you will contribute to the development of compelling menu concepts and ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the team to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute innovative menu ideas, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Conduct regular inventory checks to optimize food supplies and reduce waste.
* Analyze recipes to assign prices based on food, labour, and overhead costs.
* Supervise cooks and assist Head Chefs in preparing food and providing excellent customer service.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety and occupational health and safety regulations.
* Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
Requirements
* Certificates III & IV in Commercial Cookery from Australia.
* At least 2 years of work experience as a Chef in a similar cuisine.
* Good knowledge of occupational health and safety (WHS) and HACCP.
* Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
* Willlingness to relocate if necessary.
