Experience it here.About the role:Take responsibility for the financial aspects of both day-to-day program operations.Lead the development and management of financial strategies that drive portfolio growth, deliver program performance, and achieve financial commitments.Maintain strong relationships across the matrixed Finance & Business Operations team supporting the LOB.Provide program financial inputs, guidance & support to LOB and Market Segment leadership within Australia and the US.Support the development and execution of strategic business direction for the portfolio with a particular focus on financial performance, viability, and growth.Oversee the analysis of program financial performance (including managing structures for tracking and reporting) and effectively communicate outcomes to Australian/US leadership and customers.This position ideally will be based in Adelaide, South Australia. However, the role can be remote, working from any location within Australia. Some occasional travel to Adelaide may be required.About you:Extensive experience in a similar role within an engineering or project environment ensuring contractual compliance, cost management, budget development and analysis, financial estimating and proposal development (ideally within the defence industry).Experience delivering against requirements, schedules, and budgets in a complex and medium risk environment.Experience in leading, developing, and motivating teams, preferably across multiple sites.Advanced understanding of the interactions between programs and the engineering disciplines, finance, commercial, support, and quality areas.Experience in negotiation and resolution of highly complex issues to achieve a positive, commercially focused outcome.What we offer you:When you join Lockheed Martin, you work on projects you won’t experience anywhere else.
