Opportunity for an experienced Electrical Tradesperson to join one of the Northern Territory's most trusted and respected energy providers.You will be providing expert electrical maintenance for critical power generating facilities. This role involves both preventative and corrective maintenance of complex electrical and generation equipment. $104,656 to $124,650 - based on experienceAlice Springs - relocation assistance availableFull Time PositionKey Responsibilities:Execute reactive and predictive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems.Investigate and manage emergency incidents within the plant, producing technical reports and assessments on plant conditions.Collaborate with engineering teams and other trades on operational and technical commissioning tasks.Maintain and troubleshoot gas/diesel reciprocating engines, gas turbines, and electrical generation equipment.Help develop and update site records to ensure accurate historical maintenance data using the maintenance management system.Oversee contractors on-site, managing permits and ensuring safe and efficient operations.Follow Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) procedures diligently.Participate in an on-call roster and be available for travel to other stations as needed.Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality policies, as well as corporate values and strategies.Selection Criteria:A Grade Electrical/Fitter Mechanic trade qualifications or relevant technical experience in the power generation sector.Proven skills in detailed fault-finding on complex electrical systems and isolating multiple energy sources while adhering to permit-to-work systems.Strong commitment to workplace safety and effective safe work practices.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that contribute to effective teamwork and achieving workplace goals.Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and procedures accurately.Competence in working within a Permit to Work system, ensuring the safety of all personnel while being capable of working independently and communicating effectively with operational staff.Proficient computer skills.Valid NT driver's license or the ability to obtain one, with availability for on-call duties.Commitment to upholding safety, environmental, and quality standards in line with corporate values.If you are an experienced Electrical Tradesperson and are interested in working in Alice Springs, then apply here or for more information contact Adam Armstrong.Email: Call: #J-18808-Ljbffr
