Executive Assistant - Paediatric Emergency Department
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team in the Paediatric Emergency Department. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to the department's Medical Unit Head & Nursing Service Director, Consultants, and other senior medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing administrative support to senior medical staff, including coordinating diaries, arranging travel and accommodation, and intercepting telephone calls.
* Maintaining accurate records and booking lists.
* Developing and implementing effective office management practices and procedures.
* Establishing and maintaining relationships with hospital executive staff, divisional directors, and external organisations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience in a similar role, highlighting sound organisational skills and the ability to prioritise varying and conflicting workloads.
* Proven ability to work independently and exercise initiative/judgement in formulating and implementing solutions and actions.
* Demonstrated high level competency in word processing, excel, power point, email, scheduler, and communication skills both written and verbal.
* Experience in providing high level support for meetings/functions.
