Our capability spans through the whole project lifecycle comprising; scoping, conceptual design, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, basic and detailed engineering, construction, and project management.Our Brisbane team is currently seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to assist with an increasing workload. The Intermediate Electrical Engineer will be involved in a variety of engineering work including developing solutions, design, drawing mark-ups and checking, technical construction and commissioning queries, as-built detail documentation and estimating. This will include electrical systems, ranging from lighting & small power through to motor circuits and HV distribution systems.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare Electrical design, calculations and documentationManage small capital and major electrical maintenance projectsDetermine project scope and definition and prepare proposals for submission to clientsPrepare EPCM and capital estimates and project schedulesProvide construction and commissioning technical supportParticipate in formal engineering review processesQualifications and ExperienceA degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years' post-graduate experienceDemonstrated design and practical engineering experience in mining, minerals processing or heavy industry environmentHave a current knowledge pertinent to electrical engineering compliance with relevant engineering standards and statutory regulationsExcellent attitude towards safety and a demonstrated ability to comply with the safety requirementsAbility to communicate effectively with our internal and external clients on a technical levelCompetency in performing electrical studies (e.g. load flow, arc fault, protection grading) including the use of power system modelling packages (i.e. SKM PTW, ETAP) will be highly regarded.This is an opportunity for an engineer to join an established team of professionals.
