Project Manager - Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

* Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
* Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting to meet profitability targets.
* Resource Allocation: Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources to meet project demands.
* Change Management: Identify, assess, and implement project scope changes, minimizing impact on timelines and costs.
* Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks to maintain seamless execution.
* Contract Administration: Manage contracts and ensure compliance with terms, conditions, and deliverables.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:
* Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (essential).
* Experience: 10+ years in project management, preferably within engineering consultancies and the mining sector.
* Sustaining Capital Expertise: Proven track record managing sustaining capital projects, including multi-client environments.
* Project Management Skills: Strong capabilities in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
* Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of mechanical systems, mining operations, and regulatory standards.
