About the project Iluka's Eneabba Rare Earth Refinery (ERER) Project is located at Eneabba in Western Australia. We are delivering Australia's first fully integrated rare earths refinery, achieving an independent supply of rare earth oxides essential to global electrification and decarbonisation. Our state-of-the-art refinery will feature a total rare earth oxide capacity of 23,000 tonnes p.a, flexibility to process a range of feedstocks and recycling of water and reagents. About the role We are looking for a Procurement Lead to join our projects team. This is a permanent position based at our Perth Projects office initially assigned to the ERER Project. The Procurement Lead is responsible for the overview of all project procurement activities and coordination with our EPCM. You will support our EPCM contractor in the execution of all project procurement activities in line with Iluka Procurement Policies and standards. Being the focal point for our project, your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to communicate and persuade effectively across all project functions and Senior Management. Key elements of the role include: Maintain procurement registers and contractual compliance documents Align project procurement activities with project and corporate procurement strategies and protocols Provide contract procurement advice and support to project teams Manage procurement planning and resourcing for project procurement function Develop contract-based commercial solutions Formulate, draft and finalise commercially and legally viable contract-based business solutions Day-to-day management and administration of specific high value/high complexity/high risk contracts Monitor and manage EPCM contractor performance Assist and potentially lead in the resolution of contractor claims About you To be successful for this role, you will have: Tertiary qualification in Business/Commercial Law or related discipline Experience in the preparation and management of a full range of Materials and Service Contracts Demonstrated and relevant experience, preferably in a mining industry context Extensive practical experience in the use of contractual documentation in commodity, service, and project type contracts Sound knowledge of SAP R3 version Ability to communicate and persuade effectively at all levels up to and including Senior Management Our offer to you Be supported through an inclusive and collaborative culture Up to 18 Weeks Paid Parental Leave for Primary Caregivers Ability to Purchase Additional Annual Leave Competitive Salary and Bonus Structures Company share matching scheme You will be supported, empowered, included, and encouraged to be the best version of yourself.
