Grounds & Maintenance Officer Job Opportunity
About the Role
We have an opportunity available now for a Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our Stockland Hervey Bay centre management team.
Key Responsibilities
* Assume responsibility for the everyday maintenance and presentation of the centre.
* Manage the supply chain ensuring agreed standards of service delivery are met.
* Assist with capital works including tenancy delivery works.
* SUPPORT processes and procedures related to the delivery of a safe, compliant, well-maintained, and sustainable centre.
* BUILD and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholder groups.
* PROMOTE full compliance with Stockland's OH&S policies.
* IDENTIFY and manage improvements as a result of compliance assessments (e.g. Fire, Premise Standards, EEO and OH&S Regs).
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Trade experience and a trade qualification in a related field or basic maintenance/handyperson experience with no formal education.
* A strong client service focus, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, both internally and externally.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Competent computer skills with a basic understanding across the MS Office Suite.
* Attention to detail.
* An appreciation for OH&S and legislative compliance and practices.
