About the role Kalgoorlie Aboriginal Short Stay Accommodation (KASSA) provides safe and temporary accommodation with access to appropriate services and supports for Aboriginal people, from the Spinifex Lands who are visiting Kalgoorlie-Boulder for personal business. KASSA provides services for up to 44 people at any time and as such is staffed by a 24hr roster. The Administration Officer provides support to the KASSA service and team to enable the efficient operation of the accommodation facility. The role is responsible for a variety of duties including (but not limited to) Reception duties, Maintaining accommodation booking system, Administration duties Maintaining databases and record keeping system Financial reconciliations Processing invoices and order Stock orders What you will bring Excellent customer service, inter-personal and communication skills The ability to liaise effectively with staff, volunteers, residents, clients, visitors and external stakeholders Highly developed organisational and time management skills Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in seeking and relaying information. Proficiency in MS Office and experience using databases. Demonstrated initiative with the ability to assess the urgency and importance of situations and take appropriate action, flexibility, patience, empathy and a ‘can do’ attitude.
