Under the leadership of the General Manager of Community Services, you'll spearhead commercial strategies to drive accountability, growth, and profitability within a growing business unit.ResponsibilitiesAdvise the General Manager on process efficacy regarding continuous improvement; analysis and reporting, project/business planning.Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with departmental goalsEnhance operational processes to improve performance and maximise growthDevelop pricing structures for our projects/businesses earning an incomeConduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans for commercial opportunities for the departmentMonitor performance of commercial activities and prepare reports for the General ManagerIdentify new market opportunities and implement actions to leverage themAssist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoringManage risk assessments for new initiativesDevelop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, contractors and suppliers.Collaborate with relevant departments within Community Services and ALPAWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in business administration or other related degreeStrong project & budget management skillsDemonstrated people management skillsStrong analytical skillsAttention to detailHighly personable, approachable and ability to work with, and meet the needs of the broader business unit.What's on offer5 weeks annual leave with leave loading at 17.5%Ability to Salary Package up to $15,900 p.a.
