Home Instead Geelong was founded by Giovanni and Giselle Siano in 2018 and now employs over 350 people in the Geelong and Ballarat regions, with offices in Geelong West, Clifton Springs and Torquay.
We help with a range of personal and lifestyle needs while providing welcome companionship for ageing adults. Services include assistance with personal care, light household duties, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping and social outings and care management. We also provide specialist care to people with disability and degenerative conditions, including Dementia, Parkinson's disease, MND, MS and Palliative care at home.

About the role
Due to rapid expansion of the business, an exciting career opportunity exists for an energetic, self-motivated, and organised team member who loves nothing more than assisting clients meeting and exceeding their care goals.
As a Care Manager for Home Instead you would be closely supported by an experienced team. You will be trained and mentored in how we conduct client care consultations and manage their ongoing care needs to ensure we provide quality care services to meet the needs of all our clients.
This role provides leadership and management of the overall client experience and coordinates effectively with the office team to ensure we support the needs and best interests of our clients, while supporting the achievement of Home Instead operational goals.

Skills and experience
Knowledge of the aged care industry and understanding of Care Management.
Relevant experience in a client-facing customer service or sales role.
Excellent communication skills, including highly effective interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with people from all walks of life.
An ethical approach to your work and can apply this to how you problem solve challenges in your work.
Highly organised and ability to accurately document all interactions held with client, family or other stakeholders about the client in our system.
Ability to work as an effective member of the team to ensure all needs of our clients and their families are fully supported at all time.
