About the role We are looking for an enthusiastic and safety-conscious Welder / Fabricator to join our Sunfam team.
Primarily working and fabricating in the workshop, you will have the task of welding, fabricating, and assembling pipework and irrigation equipment prior to being delivered to our client's properties. This is a fast-paced role, suited to candidates with experience using a variety of welding techniques and willing to perform duties in the workshop and travel, as required, to assist with the installation of irrigation systems.
Responsibilities: Interpreting technical drawings where available, and taking or reading measurements, to plan layout and procedures for pipework and irrigation systems.Welding components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.Repairing machinery by welding where necessary.Maintaining all plant, machinery, and equipment.Setting up components for welding according to specifications.About you: Proven experience as a welder, using Mig, Stick, or Tig welders.The ability to work as a team player within a dynamic and continuously changing work environment.Enjoy practical and manual work.
