Job Description An excellent opportunity has opened up for an individual to manage the Non-Fiction floor at our George Street Flagship store!In this role you will:Achieve store sales budgetsAchieve own department sales budgetsAchieve Booklover sign up targetsAchieve add on sales targetsDrive a culture of sales performance within your team and the wider storeKeep own knowledge of store budgets and sales performance up to dateIntroduce new programs and initiatives that will drive sales performance of own department and storeManage stock levels for the department through replenishment from suppliers and regular reviewing of aged stockDeploy employees to relevant duties to ensure best possible service offered to customersProvide ongoing feedback and training in all areas of the storeEnsure that in-store promotions are set up on time and to merchandising guidelinesComplete all relevant administrative tasks including store and daily rosteringEnsure all register operations are followed, escalating any cash or register issuesEnsure employees follow all store and Company operating procedures, escalating any breaches Desired Skills and Experience Successful candidates will have:Strong knowledge and understanding of the industryIdeally you will have a strong knowledge of the Non-Fiction department (not essential)Exceptional commercial awarenessExcellent product knowledge and sales acumenPositive and upbeat approachAbility to think on your feet and solve problemsSome experience in rostering and team management desirableIf you have the drive, passion, and willingness to achieve instrumental results, then apply now!
