The Opportunity
Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team are seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance (145 / MRO) Professionals in support of technical roles for the Wedgetail In Service Support team maintaining the Wedgetail fleet into the future to meet the ever-evolving scope of Defence operations.
Your Day
As a supporting Aircraft Aerospace Worker within the Wedgetail Maintenance team, you will be required to integrate and assist licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer personnel to carry out all day-to-day maintenance / modification activities including:
* Aircraft induction and tear down for maintenance / modification
* Assist in aircraft next generation upgrades
* Assist in Aircraft inspections, standard servicing's and rectifications
* Administer the use of all ground support equipment I.e. Aircraft hydraulic rigs, Cabin air-conditioning rigs, Towing tractors etc.
* Administer the use of technical instructions/data and Aircraft Maintenance Documentation
* Assist in all aircraft testing post maintenance / modifications.
* Assist in aircraft Rebuild and delivery to the Commonwealth of Australia customer
Requirements
* Applicants must be an Australian Citizen
* A high level of verbal and written communication skills
* Possess an Australian Negative Vet 1 Defence security clearance or the ability to obtain
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics), including theory only completed
* Certificate II in Aircraft Line Maintenance
