About the role We are seeking a skilled and proactive Personal Assistant with exceptional administrative abilities to step right in and support the busy Director of Technical Services.
In this role, you'll be the go-to person for organizing the Director's day, ensuring efficient time management, handling scheduling etc.
You'll thrive in a role that requires you to work autonomously, handling whatever comes your way, and maintaining smooth operations even in a fast-paced environment.

Please note, the role is expected to last 18 months in duration offering 35 hours per week.
Duties Manage the Director's schedule and appointments – Organize and prioritize the Director's diary, ensuring efficient time management, scheduling appointments, and reallocating as needed.
Gatekeeping and handling correspondence – Screen calls, emails, and walk-ins, handling requests and filtering interruptions to help the Director stay focused on priorities.
Preparation of documents and reports – Draft, produce, and organize essential documents, briefing papers, reports, and presentations to support the Director's decision-making.
Coordinate meetings and events – Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, gather necessary documents, and ensure that the Director is fully prepared for engagements.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders – Serve as the main point of contact, engaging effectively with Council staff, government departments, and community representatives on behalf of the Director.
Skills and Experience Extensive experience in an office administration role and Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent relevant qualification.
Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills, including experience in report writing and a strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated strong organisation, prioritisation and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent computer skills in word processing, database packages, browsers and email programs, preferably Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and fast, accurate typing.
Ability to solve problems by applying standards, established practices and procedures or operating instructions.
Demonstrated ability to undertake special projects.
