Your role in our Mission
At Reward Gateway | Edenred, our mission is to make the world a better place to work. To help drive this vision forward, we're seeking a contracts specialist to join our APAC team. This part-time role (18-20 hours per week) will support the business with all commercial contract-related matters, assist with administrative tasks, and provide valuable legal and commercial guidance. In this role, you'll collaborate across multiple teams and play a crucial part in supporting our growth and driving positive impact.

We welcome you to use our office as much as you like. We ask that you join us in our Sydney office at least one day per week to collaborate with the team and connect in person.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with our APAC leadership team on all commercial contract matters, and identify areas to continually improve and drive efficiency into the contracting process with internal and external stakeholders.
* Manage commercial contract negotiations, contract management, and improve commercial processes.
* Negotiate with clients, liaising with the internal sales and accounts teams.
* Draft commercial contracts and update and create contract templates when necessary.
* Negotiate with suppliers and liaise with the internal business stakeholders to ensure contracts accurately reflect the needs of the business.
* Review and adapt privacy policies and data protection agreements to align with Australian legal and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure privacy compliance is addressed in existing client contracts.
* Support our revenue teams in handling privacy-related enquiries ensuring compliance with Australian data protection laws during new business acquisition and renewal negotiations.
* Contribute to the development and/or maintenance of training programs for colleagues, and participate in the delivery of internal training.
* Flag new legal developments and consider the impact on the business.
* Research various multi-jurisdictional legal issues.
* Promote legal, compliance, and risk management best practices throughout the company.
Skills
* Either a senior Paralegal with significant experience as a contracts negotiator or a Commercial Lawyer with 2-3 years post-qualification experience.
* Proven experience in managing, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts, including client and supplier agreements.
* Strong understanding of Australian contract law and its application in a commercial setting.
* Strong understanding of Australian privacy laws and data protection regulations, with experience advising on legal risks, drafting policies, and ensuring compliance in commercial agreements.
* Skilled in managing contract negotiations, including privacy-related matters, particularly for enterprise client onboarding and renewals.
* Ability to identify legal risks and develop pragmatic, business-aligned solutions that balance commercial objectives with risk mitigation.
* A solution-focused negotiator who fosters strong client relationships while protecting Reward Gateway’s interests through win-win agreements.
* Strong ability to work across leadership, sales, and operational teams, effectively communicating legal concepts to non-legal internal and client stakeholders.
* Experience with optimising legal processes, including contract management, compliance systems, and template development to drive efficiency.
* Ability to manage multiple complex projects, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, and timely execution.
* Experience in developing and delivering legal training programs to support internal teams on contract management and compliance best practices.

* 1st stage online interview with our Group Retail Director and our Head of Sales.
* Take home presentation task.
* Final stage face-to-face interview with our APAC Managing Director, Sales Director, Australia and our UK Head of Legal.
