Our client is a large Queensland-based infrastructure owner and operator. Due to an internal promotion, they are seeking a Payroll Leader to manage their fortnightly payroll of 700 employees, with the assistance of two Payroll Officers.

About the Role
As the Payroll Supervisor, your responsibilities will include –
6. Ensuring payroll is completed to deadline
7. Year End reconciliations and reporting
8. Providing advice and support to stakeholders in relation to the interpretation and application legislation, polices and enterprise agreements
9. Governance and reporting
10. Payroll system configuration and maintenance
11. Implementation of payroll controls
12. Ongoing improvement of the payroll systems, workflows and processes
About You
We are seeking a candidate with -
13. Extensive experience of payroll systems
14. In-depth payroll knowledge
15. Previous supervisory experience
16. Ability to recognise payroll errors
17. A focus on continuous improvement
