About the role: The Conducted Energy Device (CED) Program is responsible for equipping frontline police and Protective Service Officers (PSOs) with CEDs through a state-wide deployment. Reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain and Logistics, this newly created role is responsible for ensuring inventory levels are maintained sufficiently, the tracking of stock, management of orders and developing supplier relationships. The role will also develop and implement logistics plans to optimise processes and improve efficiency, whilst c ommunicating and collaborating with various stakeholders including customers and internal teams. Your duties will include: The Project Officer is required within the Supply Chain and Logistics Branch to: Management of strategic projects and logistics. Manage the logistics including CED ancillary items that Collingwood will be warehousing and distributing. Oracle system creation of all new items to be added to inventory for BAU ordering. Review and management of current CED auxiliary items (cartridges, holsters etc) Disposal of obsolete items. Contractual assistance such as inventory forecasting and ordering with suppliers. Maintenance of control numbers, contract expenditure and contract relationship management. Proven ability to implement, evaluate and improve service delivery to achieve the best outcomes for service users. High level communication skills, including the ability to write high level, concise reports, briefs, and correspondence. Highly developed interpersonal skills with the proven ability to establish and sustain effective working relationships through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
