About Toll Helicopters Toll Helicopters is an experienced provider of specialised mission-critical helicopter services and training for Government, Defence and the civil sector, operating on a global scale. The Role Toll Helicopters are looking for a suitably qualified Helicopter Line Crew Officer to join our NSW Helicopters team. This position is based in our Canberra base and works on an attractive 24/7 equal time roster. All Line Crew Officers will complete a regular and ongoing training program in the Full Flight Simulator, CATS VR sim, sea survival training centre and other state-of-the-art facilities. Minimum Requirements Certificate 4 in Aviation (Air Crew Officer) or equivalent Minimum of five hundred (500) hours as a Helicopter Aircrew Officer logged in an appropriate log book Excellent crew resource management and communication skills Hoist operator endorsement (previously CASA CAO 29.11) SAR/EMS operational experience by Day and Night Aircrew Officer NVIS qualified as per CAO 82.6 Winching experience including water, vessel, stretcher, rescue strop, Night / NVIS Current Senior First Aid certificate Current HUET and EBS qualification Dangerous goods by awareness and acceptance of Cargo Limited to non-dangerous goods course Communication and radio procedures - Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate or equivalent CASA Class 2 medical certificate Covid 19 & Flu Vaccinations (current) Position is classified as High risk (A) in accordance with NSW Health guidelines Highly Desirable Experience in Front Left Seat operations AW139 Type experience EMS/SAR experience on AW139 Navigation and flight procedures (IFR/VFR as appropriate) Comprehensive night, winch and IFR experience Live within 1hr of the designated base Are you excited about this role but are concerned you don't meet all the requirements?
