Job Description:
As a team contributor, you will enjoy working in a collaborative environment and contribute to the growth of our first-party lending introducers across Sydney metro.
You will showcase your experience with generating sustainable referral opportunities for our dedicated Home Finance Managers.
This role involves combining your networking skills with either market knowledge or lending expertise to generate new business for Westpac.
As a trusted adviser to our referral partners, you will drive First Party Home Lending through our Referral Channel and sales plan while tapping into your existing networks and partnering with the local community.
Accountants, conveyancers, solicitors/lawyers, and real estate agents are familiar to you, which can be the start of building solid relationships as you work closely with our Home Finance Managers and branch teams.
Most importantly, you will be a natural presenter and take part in coaching at off-sites, networking, and information evenings to keep developing business in the right direction.
What's in it for me?
You will play a significant part in the future of a business that has been around for 200 years. Our purpose is to create better futures together.
So, we will back you in the development of your career, internal career prospects, and flexible working. You will also keep learning to grow your career, backed by a fantastic team of people with a can-do, supportive structure.
Whatever shape your family takes, we offer generous paid and unpaid parental leave for your nominated primary and support carers.
This includes leave to organise adoptions, surrogacy, and foster care arrangements. And we continue to pay your super contributions while you take all the time you need to get your new family settled.
What do I need?
First of all – a current drivers' licence. You will need this to get from site to site.
Secondly, plenty of ambition, confidence, and people skills – as you will need these to build your networks and steer new business in the right direction.
Along with that, you will have a proven track record with coaching and influencing peers to generate results.
A knack for prospecting to acquire new partners who meet our framework – and plenty of experience in managing B2B partnerships.
We are looking for someone who our team and our partners see as a retail banking expert – which means a solid understanding of how to develop and implement a range of strategies.
And like everyone who works with Westpac, you will make every decision with the customer front and centre.
What is it like to work there?
We aim to provide one big, supportive team to help us achieve our purpose of creating better futures together.
As well as competitive remuneration and a great culture, joining the Westpac family means you will get some of the best banking, wealth, and insurance benefits in the market.
We back our employees by helping them work towards industry-recognised qualifications, using online learning, training modules, and career planning tools for you to grow with us.
We will even pay you to do volunteer or community work.
As an equal opportunity employer, we are proud to have created a culture and work environment that values diversity and flexibility – and champions inclusion.
