This is an autonomous role, where you will be managing the Victoria and Tasmania territories. The main emphasis of this role is to increase market share, through new business development and account management of existing clients. Benefits: The opportunity to work for an established industry leader Make your mark in the commercial growth strategy of the business throughout Victoria & Tasmania Attractive base salary, vehicle and generous bonus structure Immediate start available Duties: Develop and implement strategies for growth in each state, identifying key opportunities for expansion Source, interpret, and apply strategic data to determine sales target zones with high growth potential Drive market share through key strategic sales planning and direct involvement in key account management Evaluate and maintain strong relationships with the existing specialist network to ensure it remains robust Serve as the key liaison between the business and critical stakeholders, including Service Technicians, government councils, and industry professionals Build and maintain strong relationships with local and state government councils (Plumbing and EHO Departments), educating them about the available products and services. Follow up and action leads generated through various business channels to convert into sales Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market insights through ongoing research and analysis Be willing to travel throughout the Victorian & Tasmanian region on a regular basis Skills and Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales or strategic planning, preferably within the plumbing or wastewater sector Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills In-depth knowledge of local and state legislation regarding wastewater treatment Experience with CRM systems and sales tools Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit targets Enjoy nurturing long-term customer relationships Have a strong ability to think strategically, be innovative and pivot according to new challenges Be able to plan and manage your own appointments and schedules Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Current drivers licence MUST be living in Australia and have full working rights.
