Working within the FMCG sector, this role will give an individual the opportunity to join a leading food manufacturer that is Australian owned and operated.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this position plays a pivotal role within the Quality team, ensuring that food products meet the established standards of quality and food safety. ABOUT THE ROLE This position would be a contract role (3-6 months) that has the potential to extend and can commence ASAP.
Responsible for inspecting and testing the raw materials and products to make sure they meet the required labels of qualityMonitoring and programming critical control points (CCP)Performing sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and others areas requiredMonitoring every step of production to avoid product defectsPerforming inspections on products, equipment and machineryFocus on corrective actions in order to make sure that products meet required specificationsRole requires flexibility with working hours (Mon-Fri) Potential for a 4:30am start for some shifts and an afternoon shift (3:30-11:30pm) may be required - not often.WHAT YOU WILL BRING Bachelor's degree in Food Technology/Food SciencePrevious experience in Food Manufacturing is essentialStrong understanding of QA processes in the food industryI'm looking forward to hearing from you!
