The Continental Hotel is a 104-room coastal operation and is currently looking to recruit a full-time experienced Duty Manager with demonstrated experience to become part of our team. The Continental Hotel operates a Bistro style restaurant all year round and has two seasonal restaurants: Papa Fuego and Lazy's.This position has room for future growth.Bring your experience, creativity, organization, and passion for food, beverage, and service and be part of an exciting, well-established Western Australian family-owned true hospitality group.Responsibilities: Manage the daily Food and Beverage operations of the hotel. Coordinate the activity of the Food and Beverage staff. Develop and train staff. Maintain high standards of service. Open and/or close the venue. Maintain venue presentation and cleanliness. Process and reconcile POS, EFT terminals, and complete end-of-day financial reporting. Attend management briefings and meetings. Requirements: Previous experience as a Duty Manager. Excellent understanding of cellar operations, draught beer, wine, and cocktails. Valid WA unrestricted approved manager's certification. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Passion for delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction. Strong leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of WHS.
