About the Role The Project Engineer will play a vital role in the successful delivery of a critical rectification project. Reporting to the Project Lead, this role spans all project phases, including planning, procurement, and commissioning. The position is based in Brisbane, with occasional travel to site as required. Manage technical activities and coordinate stakeholders. Oversee defect categorisation, risk registers, and safety in design processes. Review contractor management plans, QA/QC policies, and compliance standards. Support operational readiness and handover procedures. Skills and Experience Tertiary qualifications in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical). RPEQ registration (or ability to acquire) highly desirable. Proven experience managing integrated design packages and procurement processes. Extensive understanding of QA/QC, workplace safety, and environmental standards. Experience with EEHA rectification and compliance projects is advantageous. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Expertise in executing works on brownfield operational facilities. Highly developed communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively. Construction Industry White Card and a valid Class C Driver’s License.
