Position overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail orientated Workforce Planner to join our team and help us to optimise our workforce to meet our growing demands. You will be responsible for forecasting staffing needs, creating schedules and ensuring that our workforce is efficiently utilised to meet business goals. You will analyse data, predict trends and develop strategies to improve workforce productivity and effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
* Develop and implement workforce planning strategies that align with business objectives
* Forecast staffing needs based on historical data, business trends and project requirements
* Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal resource allocation
* Analyse workforce metrics and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and productivity
* Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing requirements and address any workforce-related issue’s
* Monitor and report on key performance indicator’s related to workforce management
* Utilise workforce management software and tools to streamline planning processes
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a workforce Planner or in a similar role
* Strong decision-making skills that balance commercial outcomes with customer experience
* Knowledge of business operations/processes and utilisaton of industry best practices/standards for analysis and design and documentation
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite
* Previous experience with Kronos Time and Attendance is preferred
