About the role
The new Manager Planning and Delivery position is part of the Information & Communication Technology team and ensures the provision of contemporary, reliable and secure technology and infrastructure services for Legal Aid WA, managing positive working relationships with vendors and service providers and ensuring they meet their obligations. The position will oversee the design, planning and delivery of new technology and infrastructure services.
The position encompasses team management, service management, vendor and contract management, and financial management.
The position provides oversight of budgets and financial performance of technology and infrastructure services and provides advice and guidance to Legal Aid WA in matters relating to infrastructure management and service delivery.
About you
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
1. Demonstrated experience and ability managing the design, planning and delivery of technology and infrastructure services, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, and managing change across a large and diverse organisation.
2. Demonstrated experience and ability in managing ICT vendors and service providers, overseeing the fulfilment of contractual obligations and ensuring that service levels are met
3. Demonstrated experience and ability in strategic planning, utilising conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to unique problems
4. Demonstrated experience and ability in building positive organisational culture by guiding, coaching and developing people
5. Demonstrated experience and ability in building and sustaining productive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, facilitating stakeholder groups, and communicating and effectively influencing and negotiating desired outcomes.
6. Demonstrated experience and ability in managing expenditure, forecasting and budgeting.
