Are you a Clinical Psychologist, Senior Psychologist, Social Worker Level 5 who is experienced in supporting people who have been impacted by violence? Do you have leadership skills and are someone who likes to take innovative approaches to complex situations? Are you passionate about team culture, leadership, community development, referral management and supporting teams to support people who have experienced sexual abuse, adults affected by domestic and family violence (DFV); and children under 10 years of age (and their families) presenting with problematic and/or harmful sexualised behaviours?

Then you could be the perfect person to lead the Warilla ISLHD Domestic Family Violence and Sexual Assault Service (DFVSAS) located on the lands of the Dharawal and Yuin nations. This Team Leader will also oversee the Safewayz program and the Referral Management Early Response PARVAN teams.

We’re looking for a Clinical Psychologist, Senior Psychologist, Social Worker Level 5 who:
1. Has a degree in social work or psychology and full AHPRA registration or eligible for AASW Membership.
2. Has extensive direct clinical experience (post graduate Social Work / Psychology) conducting psychosocial assessments, therapeutic counselling, risk assessment and safety planning, advocacy, psychoeducation, report writing, group work and court support with people who have experienced trauma, namely sexual assault and/or family and domestic violence.
3. Can provide clinical and line management oversight and guidance to DFV&SAS Counsellors in the provision of timely, effective and high-quality therapeutic services.
4. The Team Leader will also hold a small clinical caseload.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist, Senior Psychologist, Social Worker to join the busy and dynamic DFVSAS team. This position will lead a team of counsellors, providing assessments, crisis and ongoing counselling to adults who have experienced domestic violence, and children and adults who have experienced sexual assault.
