Instructional DesignerContract till the end of June + possible extensionTalent International is working in partnership with a large government organisation to assist in sourcing an experienced part-time 'Instructional Designer'.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to identify learning needs, performance gaps, and training objectives, so as to recommend appropriate solutions to support capability development requirements at the organisation.Design and create instructional multidisciplinary resources for enhanced comprehension and engagement, that align with learning objectives, including online modules, videos, learning and assessment resources and activities, and other multimedia content using instructional design best practices.Use and explore a diverse range of available content authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia software to develop interactive and engaging learning content and drive continuous improvement.Manage multiple projects simultaneously meeting deadlines and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.Evaluate and follow quality assurance practices with learning resources, including quality, accessibility and sustainability, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and learners to continuously improve and refine instructional content to align with business requirements.Promote the 70:20:10 model of capability development.Place the customer at the centre of all decision making.Work with the Line Manager to develop and review meaningful performance development and review plans.Key Criteria:A valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement).Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.Additionally, TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or progress in achieving the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or another relevant educational qualification.Experience in instructional design and the development and delivery of training programs and products.Proven experience in applying adult learning principles and pedagogic strategies in the design of learning materials to ensure the achievement of specific learning outcomes.If you would be interested in this role please submit your cover letter & CV in Word format only by clicking the "APPLY NOW" button below or contacting levelEntry levelEmployment typePart-timeJob functionTrainingIndustriesE-Learning Providers#J-18808-Ljbffr
