Heard McEwan Legal are looking to appoint a full-time Accounts Clerk.The successful applicant will be involved in managing the trust and office accounting for the firm. The role includes but is not limited to:Management of daily trust processes, including bank reconciliations, trust/office receipts/payments and trust/office transfer requests;Various month-end procedures and reporting;Assistance with GST, BAS lodgement, and budgeting;Preparation and posting of bills;Managing accounts receivable and payable;Payroll maintenance.Skills & ExperienceExperience in trust accounting or general accounting is preferred.Proficiency in legal practice management systems (experience with Lexis Nexis Affinity is highly valued).Efficient and competent in Microsoft Office suite.Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition.Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and able to work independently.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
