About the role
Holmesglen Private Hospital are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our close-knit Critical Care team.Permanent full time, part time and casual roles will be available. You will play a key role within a supportive team to ensure we provide high levels of patient care. If successful, you must be available to work 12 hour shifts on a rotating roster.

Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units. - including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services.
As a Critical Care Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence based, person centred patient care
- Demonstrate professional practice as evidence by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and Healthscope's polices and processes
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
- Led successful quality improvement and safety mangement project/s to deliver desired outcomes
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Essential Criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in ICU/CCU or ED
- Understanding of the Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety Ten National Standards
- Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025" (salaries range between $36.1308 to $48.32 for Registered Nurse and $50.25 for CNS)
