Our client, a reputable organisation in the Education sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Executive Assistant. This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide support to Executive team members within a dynamic environment. What you'll do:
As an Executive Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive support to the Executive team. Your role will be pivotal in supporting key figures within the organisation, including involvement in strategic planning initiatives and managing aspects of major projects. You will prepare high-level reports, briefings, speech notes, submissions, committee papers and other relevant documentation. Your ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial in this role. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the organisation's research objectives.
Provide high level executive support including complex diary and inbox management Coordinate and prepare briefing papers, committee papers, reports, submissions and other forms of documentation Undertake consultation, assess options and seek resolution of complex ad hoc issues on behalf of the Executive Director Act as Executive Officer to various committees or working groups within the Division Prepare and assist in the development of policies, plans and other strategic initiatives related to the department Support the management of designated aspects of major projects relating to the Division, monitor outcomes and coordinate research support programs Draft correspondence on behalf of senior executives on a wide range of internal and external research matters Take minutes and action agenda items at board level Prepare budgets and reports What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have demonstrated experience in a similar capacity. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to interact effectively within the organisation. Your strong organisational skills coupled with your ability to multi-task will ensure that you can meet conflicting deadlines efficiently. Furthermore, your adaptability will allow you to manage changing priorities effectively. A willingness to apply for a National Police Check is also required.
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organisational skills with a knack for time management Ability to multi-task and meet conflicting deadlines Adaptability and ability to manage changing priorities Sophisticated written communication skills including preparation of high-level reports. Highly developed organisational skills with ability to achieve broad objectives across multiple business units.
