The Surgical Services Talent Pool is utilised for allocating to future casual, temporary, and permanent administrative positions within our department. These include part-time and full-time positions.
Surgical Services has various Administration positions which include Patient Support Officers and Administration Officers for our two operating theatre suites.
1. Same Day/Day of Surgery
2. Theatre Administration Officers
3. Perioperative Service
4. Surgical Wards Ward Clerks
There are various shift times ranging from 6:30am until 9:15pm 7 days a week.
There will be an induction and training plan, including face-to-face and online training, as well as a mentor to help ease the candidates into the role.
Where you'll be working: This is an opportunity to work for the largest local health district in NSW which services a population of more than 900,000 across the Hunter, New England, and Lower Mid North Coast areas.
John Hunter Hospital is a Level 6, tertiary referral, major trauma and teaching hospital and is the largest hospital in the Hunter New England Local Health District.
