HammondCare Woy Woy is currently looking for a CASUAL Registered Nurse to join our team covering Night Duty.
With our unique model of care which places the residents needs as your number one priority, you will help create a home away from home for our residents. The care you will provide will be relationship focused, with the understanding that no person is the same.

About the role:
Our Registered Nurse must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, displaying a level of competence and experience that comes with at least 2 years’ experience. You will need to cover a shift starting at 10pm and finishing at 7am.
As the RN, you will be a core member of the residential team and work with both the management of the home and the carers to provide tailored and individualised responsive care for the residents.
1. Advising and supporting the care delivery by the care staff
2. Educating and mentoring in clinical areas and processes
3. Consultative in case management and clinical decision making.
4. Clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse
5. Implement and support a resident comfort focus.
To be successful in this role, you will:
6. Demonstrate a minimum 2years experience as a registered nurse, working alone and in a team.
7. Be flexible and able to commit to a range of night shifts across 7 days.
8. Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs.
9. Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & you want to make a difference in their lives.
10. Strong Admin and computer skills
11. Experience in a residential setting is highly desirable.
