The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) is a Victorian Government- owned organisation whose role is to promote road safety, support those who have been injured on our roads and help them get their lives back on track. Under a ‘no-fault’ scheme the TAC covers the costs of injuries and offers support services for individuals injured on Victorian roads regardless of fault in an accident. Additionally, the TAC plays a crucial role in promoting road safety across the state.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Enterprise Transformation, the Chief Digital Officer will play a key leadership role ensuring the capability of the organisation’s digital services and technology are fit for purpose to deliver business operations and services. The Chief Digital Officer will lead and contribute strategically to the development of the digital and technology strategies and establishing digital and technology objectives. To achieve the TAC’s strategy and Corporate Targets, the Chief Digital Officer will provide vision and governance to the digital and technology plans ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, industry best practices, and to guide future developments in digital and technology, system design. The Chief Digital Officer will lead the Digital Delivery Branch which consists of engaged and high performing workforce of passionate professionals.
To be considered for this role, you will be a senior leader with strong knowledge and expertise in driving digital transformation and innovation at an enterprise level. You will have a track record in strategic planning, development, delivery and operational support. You are well regarded for your collaboration skills coupled with strong analytical and conceptual thinking and applying sound judgement and decision making. Furthermore, your stakeholder management skill enables you to build collaborative and engaging partnerships with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally. You will have proven success in driving change, bringing the team with you through delivery and the agility to adapt in a changing environment.
