About the role
The primary role of this position is the on-ground delivery of the Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park and Lakes National Park site servicing program. The Ranger (Field Services) will be accountable will be for personal performance and demonstrate a strong personal work ethic. The position will actively participate in a team environment The Ranger (Field Services) will be adaptable and flexible to on the ground service requirements.
Day to day the role will be focused on keeping visitor sites Open, Safe and Clean. This includes visitor facility cleaning, campground maintenance, installation of signage, mowing, and brush cutting. At times the role can be requested to support other work centres within the Central Gippsland District, providing opportunities to gain additional experience, skills and networking with staff from other areas.

We're looking for someone with:
9. Certificate or Diploma in Natural Resource Management and/or equivalent experience in a similar field
10. Practical skills in the maintenance and operation of machinery, small equipment and tools
11. Demonstrated skills in the maintenance and construction of a range of facilities, including, signs, campgrounds, fences and walking tracks
