About the Role
Are you someone with great customer service skills? Do you want to lead a small team in a supportive environment? If so, we have a great opportunity for someone who wants to build on their customer service and leadership skills. In this varied role you will establish and maintain a day-to-day relationship with the customer and provide excellent administration services for our government client. Working in a fast-paced environment on our client's site, the team focuses mainly on the efficiently handling and sorting of mails, ensuring its accurate distribution and timely delivery within the organisation.
Scope of the role includes:
* Develop an understanding of the customer's business to be able to anticipate their needs and generate additional revenue.
* Ensure team/site productivity and that customer and employee engagement targets are achieved through operational management and effective leadership of a team.
* Perform daily operational/administration tasks as necessary; ensuring quality assurance standards are met.
* Ensure service excellence through quality assurance and assisting with business process reviews.
* Assist with monthly customer reports including supplier invoicing and cost centre allocation.
About you
To succeed in this role, you have the ability to lead a team and provide clear instructions to manage the flow of day-to-day operations. Ideally you possess excellent administrative, time management and organizational skills but more importantly your strong customer service mindset means you always have the desire to deliver and exceed client expectations.
Key Skills and experience include:
* Strong leadership skills. Work experience as a people leader is an advantage.
* The ability to work under pressure to achieve stringent service standards.
* A great attitude and the enthusiasm to learn new skills.
* Good knowledge of MS Office and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
