National Manager Health & Safety Role
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to lead our Health and Safety (H&S) function at Humes.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing strategic and tactical plans for the H&S function in conjunction with the Executive Committee (ExCo) and LafargeHolcim Global requirements.
* Executing plans as they relate to the function with comprehensive leadership of the activity, including prioritisation of key issues.
* Matching resources to the requirements of the H&S Strategy and in line with changing business needs and priorities.
* Demonstrating effective leadership and delegation of tasks.
* Providing input into the business unit H&S plans in line with the Holcim Australia and New Zealand H&S strategy.
* Ensuring decision-making processes and accountabilities are clear and fully integrated within the function.
* Provision of policy updates and their effective documentation.
* Provision of training as required.
* Assisting the EGM HR, Chief Executive Officer, and General Counsel/Company Secretary in meeting Holcim Australia's corporate governance and legal obligations with regard to H&S.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (preferred).
Experience in a similar or related industry (highly desirable).
Solid experience in the H&S area at both strategic and operational levels.
Experience implementing strategy within large and complex H&S functions.
Experience in successfully leading a senior team with a demonstrated track record of success.
