About the role The Enrolled Nurse, under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, is responsible for supporting our residents' care through assessment, planning, direct service delivery, and review, within your scope of practice.The care you provide will have a lasting positive impact on our residents and their families. Within your varied day, you will: Provide a range of care and support services to residents in accordance with the care plan. Monitor and report to the Registered Nurse any observed changes in a resident's health requiring more complex interventions. Assist in the development of a resident's care plan, providing guidance to Personal Care Workers in the delivery of care to residents. Maintain assessment records in accordance with relevant organisational systems and processes to assist in the planning and delivery of services to residents. Work closely with a Registered Nurse to plan and schedule resident services. Perform position responsibilities in accordance with the Positive Wellbeing Model of Care. You will contribute as an integral member of the Seniors Living group and support activities aligned with the strategic direction of and consistent with the mission and values of Churches of Christ. Your experience and qualifications for the role should include: A current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with a current practicing certificate. Minimum of 12 months experience in an Australian RAC. Current driver's license. Experience in wound care, and medication competent. Demonstrated experience providing leadership and support to care teams. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team. High level of professional written and verbal communication. Experience working in Aged Care will be highly desirable. Current National Police and NDIS Check or ability to obtain.
