Key Responsibilities:Provide advice and guidance to the organization in the sphere of their area of responsibility, including managing budgets, supporting financial optimization, developing talents who directly report to them as well within wider organizations.Develop and lead implementation of business plans within their sphere of responsibility and effecting related stakeholders with the goal to maximize the business KPIs.Develop company-wide guidelines to be used by all employees across the business related to the visual appearance of the stores and merchandise representation at the sales floors.Responsible for talent development and management within their team to provide stable workforce, including resource planning, development, career development for team members at different levels (from junior to senior)Prepare company-wide reports to be integrated into further external and internal reporting (including group reports)Acting as a trustworthy leader within the organization to provide guidance and training to wider teams, including training sessions, company meetings, conventions.Participate in negotiations with vendors and other third parties.Key Skills and QualificationsManagerial experience in in-store merchandising/visual merchandising qualification or relevant practical experience.8+ years proven and demonstrated experience and strength in Visual Merchandising department, including managerial roles, ideally in a multi-category retail environment.Experience working with a high volume apparel retailer with key capacity planning skills.Experience managing a team.Ability to work with cross functional stakeholders.Experience with working with suppliers.Cultural sensitivity and flexibility.Solid understanding of store operations.Self-motivated, be able to demonstrate initiative, high level of energy.Ability to train and develop a team with strong communication skills.What's in it for You?Opportunity to work in a leading global fashion retailer.Collaborative, engaging workplace culture - combining the best of Japanese and Australian culture.Generous employee discounts and benefits.UNIQLO is an equal opportunity employer.
