About the rolePadua College - Brisbane is seeking a passionate and experienced Outdoor Education Activities Instructor to join our dynamic team on a casual basis. As an Outdoor Education Activities Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering a range of exciting and engaging outdoor activities to our students, enhancing their skills, confidence and appreciation for the natural environment.What you'll be doing Facilitate a variety of outdoor education activities, such as bushwalking, rock climbing, abseiling, kayaking and other adventure-based learning experiencesEnsure the safety and well-being of all participants by adhering to relevant safety protocols and risk management proceduresProvide high-quality instruction and guidance, tailoring the activities to meet the needs and abilities of different student groupsCollaborate with the Outdoor Education team to develop and implement engaging and educational outdoor programsMaintain equipment and facilities to the highest standards, ensuring they are well-maintained and ready for useContribute to the overall success of the Outdoor Education program by providing feedback and suggestions for improvementWhat we're looking for Relevant qualifications and experience in outdoor education, adventure activities or a similar fieldCurrent first aid and CPR certificationKnowledge of safety procedures and risk management practices for outdoor activitiesStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire studentsEnthusiasm for the outdoors and a passion for sharing your knowledge and skills with othersWillingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and school holidays, as requiredWhat we offerAt Padua College - Brisbane, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that values work-life balance.
