Sommeliers - whether you're a Junior Sommelier just starting out in the world of wine, or a seasoned expert looking for a new challenge, we have a role for you at one of our exquisite restaurants. What we are looking for
1. At least 3 years of work experience in this role, working in a quality establishment
2. Relevant qualifications
3. Good knowledge of food, wine, and beverages
4. Good communication and organizational skills along with sound decision making
5. Organized with ability to implement systems and procedures
6. Experience in setting and achieving targets
7. Adhere to RSA legislation
8. Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
9. Have full Australian working rights
10. Available to work nights and weekends
Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage a large top-performing team
2. Roster to given budgets
3. Staff training and development
4. Assisting with the organization of events and functions
5. Stock take and appropriate ordering for restaurant and wine list
6. Handling customer queries and complaints in a professional manner
7. Hosting and reservation management
