Due to continued growth an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Boilermakers and Fitters to join our dynamic team in Pilbara - Karratha, Port Hedland, Tom Price Quarry and Onslow Quarry.The successful Boilermaker candidates will need to have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, and hold a relevant trade qualification, along with –Experience repairing quarry fixed and mobile plantBe proficient in various welding application including – Arc, Mig, Wire feed etcBe proficient in all forms of oxy acetylene cutting and braisingGood understanding of different steel properties/functionsBe prepared to travel predominantly within the Pilbara region to service our quarry and concrete operationsHave a strong understanding and commitment to OH&SAbility to work independentlyAn excellent mechanical aptitudeSound problem solving and decision-making skillsThe successful Fitter candidates will need to have a minimum of 5 years experience working on Elevated work platforms, AWP, Boom lift, Scissor Lift, Forklift, telehandler, CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, earth moving vehicles etc.
Duties and responsibilities are as follows:Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and partsDismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking partsPerforms preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on reverse osmosis units, pumps, valves, piping systems, water monitoring equipment and all auxiliary equipment as requiredComplies with applicable Safety, Environment, Health, and Waste Management policies and proceduresRepairing and replacing worn and defective parts, reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as neededMonitors and performs preventive maintenance on waste heat recovery system and componentsPerform machine operations, servicing and engine overhaulsPerforming schedule maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollutions regulationsReassembling engines and parts after being repairedTesting and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performanceDiagnosing and testing parts with assistance of computerSalary range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year (commensurate to skills and experience)Required for an immediate start.Weekly Payroll!
