Our federal government client, the Department of Industry, Science and Resources (DISR), is seeking a Data Scientist to work with business areas and the project team to deliver data science solutions that meet requirements.
Essential CriteriaMinimum 2 years design and working knowledge in Azure Machine Learning. Deep understanding of ML models, Model training, validation and implementation of such models for scoring/inferencing.Practical experience in ML Ops in managing the lifecycle of ML models. Experience with the following model types highly desirable:Classification modelsRegression/forecasting modelsClustering modelsComputer visionGenerative AI / Natural Language processing - LLM/SLM ModelsDesign experience in Generative AI solutions using open source LLM models, particularly with Azure or OpenAI Service. Design experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) application using Large Language models such as Azure Open AI - GPT-4.Experience in development and deployment of ML Models as online endpoints, inferencing APIs using AML SDK / Notebook, data stores and data assets to work with Azure blob storage and data lake.Experience in LLM prompt engineering and implementation of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pattern and factual grounding techniques.Experience in developing and deploying Python web application using Azure Cloud.Desirable CriteriaAzure Data Scientist Certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
