Job Title: Community Paediatric Dietitian
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced paediatric dietitian to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Community Paediatric Dietitian, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide high-quality dietetic services.
Main Duties
* Deliver a comprehensive dietetic service for infants and children across the paediatric range (0-18 years) and up to 25 years if they have an Education, Health and Care Plan in place.
* Conduct dietetic assessments and interventions in accordance with agreed dietetic service specifications.
* Maintain a caseload of children across various dietetic specialities, including home enteral feeding, food allergy, and faltering growth.
* Provide dietetic services to children and their parents/carers in various settings, including community hospitals and clinics, special schools, and patients' own homes.
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary therapy and nursing teams to support children with special needs attending Special Schools and Child Development Centres.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a source of expertise on food, nutrition, and diet issues for various multi-disciplinary teams, including health and social care professionals.
* Develop and deliver training programs for patients, healthcare professionals, and students.

Person Specification
* Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
* Dietetic Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
* Evidence of post-registration training relevant to the role.
* Experience in assessment and management of dietetic interventions in long-term conditions and disease.
* Ability to work effectively in community settings.
