Due to growth, this newly created role as Finance Manager will allow you to work closely with the CFO to support the Family Office and Investments business, delivering strategic insights, financial reporting, and operational excellence. Your work will directly impact the family's financial operations and long-term strategic goals, and it's essential that you bring integrity, confidentiality, and a proactive approach to your role. Key Responsibilities Family Office: Collaborate with the CFO to manage finance activities related to the Family Office, ensuring complete discretion in handling sensitive matters. Develop regular financial reporting for family members, maintaining transparency while safeguarding privacy. Prepare Family Board meeting packs with relevant financial updates. Process payments in line with Family Charter policies, ensuring full compliance Assist with preparation of individual, trust, and company tax returns, as well as tax planning and strategy. Support risk and compliance matters, including insurance management. Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes within the Family Office Serve as the primary financial liaison with family members and external advisors, building trusted relationships. Investments: Collate and review monthly investment statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Identify and implement process improvements for investment reporting and turnaround. Manage the onboarding process for new investments, ensuring all financial and compliance aspects are handled effectively. Team Responsibilities: Support the broader finance team in general ledger maintenance, transaction processing, and monthly account reconciliations. Assist with treasury and cash management, ensuring effective liquidity management. Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations, including ATO, SRO, and ASIC reporting. Collaborate on IT, Cyber Security, Risk Management, and Operations functions as needed. Contribute to other tasks and projects as directed by senior management. About You CPA or CA qualified, with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role, particularly in family offices or private business environments. Experience in tax planning, compliance, and preparing financial reports for family or private business entities. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for process improvement. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with senior management and external parties. Proficiency in financial systems and tools Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
