About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established workshop in Western Sydney .
This business specialises in comprehensive vehicle repairs and servicing across cars, trucks, and trailers .
The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy vehicles and be comfortable handling a mix of workshop-based and onsite servicing, breakdown assistance, and RMS safety inspections .
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain cars, trucks, and trailers .
* Conduct RMS safety inspections and compliance checks.
* Attend to onsite servicing and breakdowns as required.
* Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles.
* Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
* Ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards.
* Work collaboratively with other mechanics and technicians in the workshop.
Requirements:
* Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics (or equivalent).
* Previous experience working on trucks, trailers, and heavy vehicles .
* RMS Authorised Inspection Scheme (AIS) license (preferred but not essential).
* Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults .
* Strong commitment to safety procedures and compliance .
* Current manual driver's license (HR license preferred).
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
