We foster an inclusive and collaborative culture that celebrates achievements and allows everyone to contribute to our success.About the roleThe key responsibilities of the Assurance Adviser role include:Effectively plan for internal audits, engage with internal auditors and work in collaboration with internal stakeholders.Review and assess the implementation of low rated internal audit findings, ensuring internal compliance against the risk register is maintained.Support an audit culture, where audit findings are reported, communicated and understood, and display a positive risk culture for the Authority.Support the Manager, Corporate Governance to execute the other risk, assurance, and governance activities of the Authority.About youTo be successful as the Assurance Adviser you will hold qualifications or have relevant experience in assurance, risk management, public administration, or governance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to produce comprehensive reports and briefs within specified timeframes. The ideal candidate will be able to partner with key stakeholders and work collaboratively whilst maintaining privacy and confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
