Our Client, a non-denominational, Independent College is a leading Educational P-12 Institute that prides itself on empowering its students to be well-rounded, critical thinkers with strong social and community values.
Frontline Education is partnering with them to appoint an experienced Primary School Curriculum Advisor who will play a crucial role in the design, development and implementation of the Primary School Curriculum in line with Australian curriculum standards and best practices.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive primary school curriculum in alignment with the Australian Curriculum standards.
* Work with teachers to design engaging and challenging lesson plans and teaching materials.
* Provide professional development and ongoing support to teachers in the curriculum's implementation.
* Monitor and assess the curriculum's effectiveness and recommend improvements as needed.
* Stay informed about trends and best practices in Australian primary education and incorporate them into the curriculum.
* Collaborate with school leadership to ensure curriculum initiatives align with the school's educational goals.
* Engage with parents and the wider school community to communicate curriculum changes and gather feedback
ABOUT YOU:
* Strong understanding of primary curriculum frameworks, standards and assessment practices.
* Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
* Proven leadership skills and experience managing complex projects from conception to implementation with limited supervision.
* Solid knowledge of Australian educational policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Master's degree in teaching/education
* Substantial experience in curriculum development, instructional design and educational leadership in a primary school setting in Victoria
