You will have the opportunity to relocate to Zeehan and enjoy a residential role or DIDO with camp accommodation.
Alternatively, you can relocate anywhere in Tasmania (with assistance) within a 30-minute radius of the mine and receive $8,800 p.a. residential allowance.

The Mine & Roster: Located in Western Tasmania, the mine offers a convenient 18-minute commute from camp to site, paired with a favourable 8:6 Wednesday-to-Wednesday roster.

Camp: Be a part of a highly enjoyable camp featuring:
• An 18-minute drive from the mine site in a southwest direction.
• A well-equipped canteen that supplies 3 meals per day.
• Option to bring alcohol to the camp with you.
Permanent employees are given $145 per annum to go towards a gym membership (which is around 50% of an annual subscription).
The Role: Under the guidance of the Senior Mining Engineer, you will collaborate with a highly cohesive team to achieve well-defined objectives.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
• Developing and implementing production plans aligned with operational targets.
• Optimizing ore extraction, stope design, and recovery while mitigating risks.
• Overseeing drill and blast plans, service installations, and Stope Extraction Plans to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Analyzing mine performance and addressing variances using the Time Usage Model (TUM).
• Collaborating with teams to deliver accurate MOPs, LOMPs, and schedules.
• Providing technical guidance for new or modified areas and promoting a strong safety culture.
Your Skills and Experience: You will showcase your expertise through the following skills and experiences:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5+ years' experience within a similar mine.
• Competent user of Deswik and Ventsim.
• Ability to work autonomously and cohesively within a high-performing professional team environment.
